November 13, 2004, 11:00: We won the Best Novelty prize in the Ottawa Help Sanda Toy Parade organized by the Ottawa Firefighers. HPVOoO has had entries in 2002 and 2003 as well.

Sunday 31st: 2nd annual HPVOoO Hallowe'en ride: This year we rode around Percy/Gladstone area, then went back to the Haunted House at Percy/Powell and a bit around the Glebe. After pizza at Richard's, we went out looking for pubbers to entertain.

August 29th, 10:00: HPVOoO parade, "Let's go to the Beach!" started at ARMPIT central (192 Cambridge Street North), headed down Christie to Mark's place to pick up a canoe, then down Bell, Rochester, Elm, Preston, Albert/Scott, Bayview, then onto the Western Parkway at the Lemieux Island access. The parkway wasn't closed for
Alcatel Sunday BikeDays
until Island Park Drive, but we had no problems in the right lane.
We headed out to the Ottawa Folk Festival at Britannia Park via the Carling turnoff, then into Grant's for a fabulous lunch. A number of us volunteered with CfSC to help with bike parking. We met at 09:00 to start decorating. Vic Gedris took photos, along with Richard Guy Briggs, Mark Rehder, Jenn Farr, Charles Akben-Marchand.

July 11th, 2004, noon: We won first prize in this year's Ottawa Pride parade! That's the second award we have earned. Here is the parade route map.
Richard took a few photos before and after the parade, but was too busy managing chain mail on a chopper to take any during... Trevyn's friend Andrew also took photos (His full set are here.) Jenn Farr took some awesome pics too! Set 1, Set 2. There was also an appearance by the city of Gatineau's VeloBus. Some photos by Pat Croteau were also found.
